Hey Wifa

I hope you got some nourishment and rest. I can hardly imagine how tired you must have felt. I wish I could be there sleeping next to you.

After we said bye, I finished my day at the museum. I got some unexpected good news today. I had a job review in the afternoon. It went well. I got a bonus and a 50 cent raise :) It was an average day at the front desk, which leaves little to talk about. After work, I went to Home Depot and got some supplies. I bought an adequate ventilator, plastic mixing cups and some Weed 'n' Feed for the front yard.

I spent most of the night in the studio making another pair of hands. I split the evening with a dog walk. We took a new route though the park. We did a loop de loop around the pond. There were so many birds on the walk way through the cat tails. There were many Red-winged Blackbirds singing to each other simultaneously. Tree to tree Blackbirds sang out. The sky was majestic with light rays that were jutting out behind the clouds. It was a spectacular moment that I wish we could have shared. At the Rec center, we saw a crow on the top of the street light. It was cawing loudly. I stopped to see what the matter was and noticed a cat at the base of the light. The cat seemed to be paying no mind to the crow, but the crow kept calling out. After a couple of moments several other crows arrivedon the scene and started to caw at the cat. The cat finally knew it was in peril and began to look for shelter. The cat took off across the parking lot and was pursued by two crows.  The cat ducked under a parked car across the street and the crows flew back to their perches. It was exciting to see crows communicating with each other, but I felt bad for that kitty. After the walk, I went back to the studio and kept working.

I forgot to mention the poor start to your sister vacation in yesterday's post. Your dad told me that your sister, Theia and Ben arrived at Ron's place in Florida and there was no power in the place. Shortly after realizing this, they discovered meat that had been in the fridge for months. Katelyn told your dad that she almost threw up because of the smell. The smell of the refrigerator sent the Simkins family to the balcony. Once their nostrils were refreshed by the fresh air they decided to go back into the apartment, only to discover they were locked out. They had to call down to lower levels to get help. Eventually, an old lady heard them and sent help.

That's it for tonight. Sorry for the lack of transition between paragraphs. I am tired. I plan on waking up to take pictures for you tomorrow. I scouted some potentially good images. For tonight, I give your more pictures of the babies. They miss you so much.

I love you so much wife. You are the air I breathe. I miss you so.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I can hardly believe it. I feel like reality has finally sank in. On my way home this evening I remembered the lonely nights of last summer. I miss you so much already. It was nice to come home and find the note and bunny you left for me. I cried when I picked up the bunny. You are so sweet my love, but nothing can replace being next to you. It feels like the dogs are waiting for you to come home tonight. I miss you.

My day was okay. I got to "Beautful Face" around 10. Your dad got there at the exact same time. We had a relatively easier day. I cut the rest of my ceiling tiles while your dad handle business with the alarm guy. We took an early lunch at 11:35 and went to Mr. Sushi. I had the vegetable yakisobi and you dad had the teriyaki chicken. While we ate we talk about an employee you dad had in Colorado Springs. Your dad couldn't remember his name, but he thought it was "Dwayne." Dwayne was once an engineering student at the Colorado School of Mines and your father said that he was supposedly quite smart. Unfortunately, Dwayne got into hard drugs and ended up dropping out of school. By the time your dad hired him he said that he was a recovering addict and he had cooked his brain. It is a sad, but your dad told me a funny story about working with Dwayne. Your dad and Dwayne were working on a tenant finish in Colorado Springs. Dwayne was usually put to work cleaning the job site. Your dad's confidence in Dwayne grew after working with him, so he ask him to switch the blade of a saw and cut out a piece of drywall that was damaged. After instructing him on how to do so your father went back to work and left Dwayne unsupervised. What your dad didn't see is that Dwayne had selected the longest blade for the saw and proceeded to cut through the entire wall. Dwayne cut through drywall, studs, and insulation. Dwayne's saw blade was so long that it cut legs off of desks on the other side of the wall. Down the line, desks fell. Haha! Your dad and I had a pretty good laugh and went back to work. I spent the rest of the day prepping the floor for vinyl tile and throwing mud with your dad.

I drove home and started to get lonely. It almost felt like you hadn't left. Talking to you during your layover normalized driving you to the airport and comforted me for most of the day. Nights are the hardest. I get lonely and the babies miss you. The house is quiet without you. Sigh.

The dogs and I went for a walk. It was very pretty and the dogs rolled in the grass. We came across the cone dogs again. The dog that was going crazy yesterday escaped his cone but didn't act so tough once he wasn't constrained. Our babies were good and sat patiently. We walked by Lil' Gill's place. He was sitting at the mouth of his garage with this O.G. looking guy. As we walked by, Lil Gill's friend was lifting his shirt, which revealed some gangster looking tattoos.  Everyone acknowledge each other, but Lil' Gill was more reserved than usual. No "God Bless Yous" but Lil Gill's friend did say "nice dogs."

I got a pizza at the grocery store and ate it for dinner. The cats had some tuna. Clarke pigged out and finished Dorian's. The Chubster was out chubbed. That grey :)

That is where I leave you tonight. I am planning on working in the studio tonight and mowing the grass in the morning. I miss you so much. I hope you found your way to Saas Fe with ease. You are going to do so great! I am excited to start hearing news of your classes. I love you so much my wife. I am so very proud of you. Get rested so you can learn, learn, learn! One day down!

P.S. Here are some picture from today. Just some things I thought you would like to see. The bike is inspirational for a sculpture.
