⪆⪅⪆⪅⪆⪅⪆⪅

Hey Wifa

I hope you are feeling better. It is so crumby that you haven't been 100% since you got there. I wish I was there to take care of you. The good news is that it is a week until you get home. We all cannot wait to have you here.

Today has been like the rest of the days since you left, busy. It is a little overwhelming to try and do everything and maintain the house and take the dogs out and such, but we are making due. The hard part is mostly over, so I am not as stressed.

Anyway, I think the work turned out really good. I am excited to see it all together Sunday. I cannot wait to show you the pictures, I wish you could be there. I am already working on the show for Gildar. We met on Wednesday to talk about the show. It went well and I think the agenda will really help me stay focused and enable me to have a good, hopefully excellent, show. I have some ideas in the mix. I posted some resources images to show you what I am thinking about.

The babies, have been so good. We have had some minor issues on the walk. One major issue. I cannot remember which night it was but, we were walking in the bird sanctuary. It had rained all day, so it was cool out and the swallows were acrobatically flying above the water. They would dive down a fly along the pathway then shoot back up into the sky. I will never forget that. Not only because it was beautiful, but also because the following moments were a sharp contrast. It was like worst case scenario. The BIG dog was walking with his family. Everybody knew it was trouble. Funf and Uola instantly got tense, and the other dog followed suit. I put myself between our dogs and the big dog, but Uola wiggled free while Funf was bark levitating. My heart sank because she got away from me and I feared what I would see when I turned around. Luckily, I think Uola lost her courage and the big dog's owner pulled his dog away. I quickly grabbed Uola and apologized. Crisis averted. That's probably the most excitement we've had since you left.

Mum's was nice tonight. Mum, Ron, and I had pizza. Talked about my art and what they saw in Vail. I recommended they check out the Still Museum and they seemed interested. They are so sweet. Big jokesters.

That's about it for tonight. I am off to dream of you <3

♋♥♌

Hey Baby.

I sure miss you tonight.  I don't like going without our video chat. Funf misses you too. I try to cheer him up, but he misses you.

We had one of those walks last night. You know the ones where there is peril at every turn? We encountered three dogs, one on the path in the bird sanctuary. The dogs got hyphy in close quarters. Had to do all I could to hold them. Also a skateboarder. And worst of all, we almost saw a cat get run over. Thankfully, it narrowly escaped with the help of a drivers attentive driving.

If feel a little better about my work. I made good strides last night and today. I was sweating the moon, as you know. I am still kind of frustrated but I am happy it is getting painted. Tomorrow, I HAVE to get the Houston stuff out. It takes third days with Fedex ground, and tomorrow is my deadline for that option. Once I get Houston off, it will be more relieved.

I hope you start to feel better. I hope you can find some medicine. Let me know if I can help you somehow.

I took pictures of our home tonight to try and ease some of your homesick blues. The house does not feel the same without you. We all miss you so much.

Shmoney Honey

Hey Wifa.

Another busy, but productive day.

I pretty much spent all day trying to figure out these crates again. I am going to need 7 sheets of sanded plywood, 5  8 ft 2 x 4's and 2 8 ft 1 x 4's. And that is just the lumber. Tomorrow I am going to a place called Tharco Packing to see if I can get Ethafoam. If that works out, it should seal the deal and I can start to focusing on production. I think the Houston stuff will be relatively easy. I found some pre-made boxes at the Deeps today, which leaves the Crystals and By Hook or By Crook. The weekend has felt long but I think I made some good head way. Hopefully, I can be just as fortunate with the vinyl.

Crates is not all I did today. I did manage to get a couple of walks in. The first one was a jaunt through the neighborhood. Barnum is always interesting. There were moments today when I felt like I was walking in San Jose del Cabo. Some of the houses are so similar. I told you earlier that I met a man while I was photographing his "church" that he made for his wife. He was a proud , pleasant, and friendly guy. Very eager to share his projects. He was obviously not the richest man, but he worked hard to craft his home as he liked. He kept telling me that people didn't see value in his projects and his house need to be changed. I sympathized with him and told him house was very beautiful. After exchanging pleasantries, I left and circled back to another house I had passed on my way to Federal. It was a cool house that has this very prominently placed dog on the porch. I took some pictures of it when I first passed it, but didn't realize I was on the wrong ISO, so the picture were blurry. When I came back to the house there was an old gentleman sitting in front of the porch. Feeling charged from my last encounter, I engaged the man and asked if I could take a picture of the dog. He seemed confused and manage to tell me that he didn't speak english. I smiled and said "perro" pointed to the statue and then my camera and he gave me the blessing to take the picture. After than I cruised home and went to the Depot.

I had pizza for dinner. Ate the whole thing, I guess I was pretty hungry. After dinner, I took the dogs to Wash. They loved it. Super pulley. We dipped their toes and Funf got bouncy in the usually spot. He kept stopping to sniff or pee then he would sprint to the end of the leash and bounce back to me. I don't know what gets into him, but I think it is awesome. After the walk, I got some frozen yougurt ;) and came home. Uola rode with her head out the whole way home.

That pretty much sums up my day.

I wish you could be here. I miss talking to you. I hope you got some good rest!

This guy is like The Weeknd, been listening to it during the day, pretty good.

If you like it more songs here: https://soundcloud.com/partyomo

This song is crazy. Bobby Shmurda. It's all hyphy, maybe better in the afternoon. The shooting hand gesture is so menacing. It's in a lot of music videos these days.

Love you wifa!

The moon, crates, and talking birds

Hey Wifa.

I hope you got some good rest.

It was so good to finally see you. I have been missing you so much. It just doesn't feel right to not have you around. We are making due, I guess.

Anyway, I worked all day.

In the morning, I cleaned the house. Wiped the counters, did the dishes, did a load of laundry, swept and vacuumed the floor. After that, I started working on the moon vinyl. I didn't know how to go about it at first, but settled on editing in Illustrator.

Before going to dinner with my mom and aunt, I ran to the store to stock up on some things. Pumpkin, chicken, breakfast, and dinner stuff. When I got home, I unloaded the groceries and fed the dogs then head to Aurora.

Dinner was pleasant enough. We talked about my mom's horses and the like. At the end, my mom mentioned that my uncle's ex-wife saw a medium in Wisconsin. I guess she ended up sending a note to my grandma saying that the medium identified three things pertaining to Darius: a bench, baseball hats, and birds. I assume you know what the first two relate to, but the birds, she said are my brother's way of trying to communicate with my grandma. My mom and aunt said that my grandma mentioned an influx of hummingbirds. I could see my mom getting emotional while recounting what my grandma said the medium had said. It is a really roundabout weird story. It is still hard to believe Darius died. I wish he could communicate through birds, it would be a infinitely distant second to having him back, but it'd work for me.

I got home around 8ish and continued to research this crating biz. I found a pretty funny instructional video. The guy is a kook, but helpful. On Monday, I need to track down packing materials.

That's it for tonight. I was hoping to take some pictures, but didn't get to it. Tomorrow! I am thinking about taking the dogs to Wash. Also, cutting my hair, hehehe.

Love you so much, always and forever! I hope you have an excellent first day of class. I can't wait to hear about it. I will be dreaming of you! Love love love.

1st of August

Hey Wifa.

I hope that you got some sleep on the plane and are ready to make your way to Saas Fe.

Tonight has been pretty uneventful. The dogs and I went on a walk this evening. It was pleasant and cool. The swallows were swarming again. When we were walking around the pond birds were zipping down the path. Whoever is draining the pond has started to take the water out of the again. I could see the water falling into a hole.

After the walk, I went to dinner at US Thai. I researched crating info while I ate. It helped me wrap my head around the process. I feel like a have a good jumping off point and direction.
Tomorrow I will continue with my research and look for places to acquire materials. I also need to get the Houston shipment started. I'd like to have it sent by Monday, so I have my work cut out for me. In the evening, I will be meeting my mom and Shauna for dinner in Aurora. It will be a long day, but at least it will give me something to focus on.
The house is so lonely without you. Going to bed is always the toughest part. I was really trying to get my fill of you last night and this morning because our bed is so lonely while you are gone. I can't wait until we are together again.
Hopefully we can figure out a way for me to come out there. I can't wait to hear from you. I miss you so much. I love you forever. More pictures to come! Love love love.
