Hey Wife.
It has been a rough couple of days. I guess it is balance for the good start.
I have been working like crazy. I get up and head to the studio. I have been eating lunch in the studio, so I don't lose time. I have been here for a week now and have only ventured out of the Carabinieri walls once for anything that remotely resembles the beauty of Venice. I am not complaining though. I think the studio is just as interesting.
Things are beginning to find their way back on track. I had a meeting with the curator and the gallerist today and it went well. He is a nice man with many good ideas. I am excited to work with him and we both have a desire to see the entire gallery black with bust remnant. He is writing for the catalogue and I am excited to see what he will say. He talked about an idea that he is working on that he describe as, condensation and evaporation/dispersion. He said that some artists work in the sense of condensation or acquiring information and condensing into a droplet of information and he said that my project is like the evaporation which disperses the information. The bust acts as the already formed droplet and the action of drawing with is the evaporation.
I hope everything is running smoothly for you there. I know that this time of the year is stressful for you, but you always seem to manage. I wish I was there to be with you. I wish for that more than you know. I think about you every single moment. You were my rock when things began to get shaky. You are the most important anything to me FOREVER! I love you SO MUCH!
