☁❑❒❑❒❑❒❑❒❑❒❑❒❑❒❑❒☁

Hey Wifa. ❆_❆

It was nice to see all of your comments this morning.

Reading about the people you talked to on the plane was interesting. Reading about the Italian woman that moved to Montana was kind of surreal. That is a lot of children to be responsible between the two of them. I am happy to hear that you found help to the train and the buswas free ;) I am excited to see the train station next year.

My day was good. I worked in the studio after walking the dogs this morning. I finished the all of the hands. I think my next step will be finishing the bondo on the girls. I ordered silicone rubber today so I can make the heads. It was expensive, but it will do a great job. I also found someone to paint them win they are done. It is my goal to have them close to painting by the end of the month. I have a lot of work to do.

Work was okay. It was work. Not much to say about it. It was a nice surprise to see to you. You looked beautiful. I just wanted to kiss you all over. It is hard to not have you physically next me. After work I went and picked up dinner at US Thai and came home.

The babies and I have been hanging out. Relaxing. I got to get up early tomorrow so I can walk the dogs and get in the studio. One more day down. I hope your classes go super great awesome fantastic. Maybe there will be pizza ;)

I love you soo much ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ Let's get married!

  1. Hi my love. Thank you for making that video. I’ve already watched it 6 times. That grey is so fat and so bad. I miss all of the babies so much. I hope they are taking care of you just as well as you are taking care of them. Your photos look interesting. I particularly like the image of the orange sand bags and the stoplight. You are a pretty darn good photographer when you want to be… you have a special vision, a way of seeing things. Your images surprise me in the way that you look… your vision/ perception.

I hope we can video chat every day… it made me feel better. We need to work out our timing so that you don’t have to stay up so late. I only slept 4 and a half hours last night. My internal clock is so off. Its not that my room isn’t comfortable because it is… I like my pillow a lot and its warm enough. Poppy thinks that the light has something to do with it.

I had a morning class on techne, psyche, and teleology with Werner Hamacher. He is currently a Professor in the University of Frankfurt's Institute for General and Comparative Literature as well as at EGS. I think he also taught at Johns Hopkins. We read through a lot of Aristotle today…. Looked at the structure of techne (or know-how or a way of knowing) in relation to the state of being. Basically we discussed what knowledge really is and how it works in difference to just experience or action. We looked at a Greek word that I think would be a good word for the title of your exhibition, ouoia. Ouoia is a Greek word that means, “what has been and still is.” It can be translated as essence, substance, that which carries itself, that which is and has been and will continue to be. Ouoia can also be understood as the shape of things… the realm of visibility or thinkability. I also thought you would find the classical Aristotelian definition of techne interesting, “in general art either imitates the works of nature or completes that which nature is not able to complete.” In a way you are creating ontological monsters with this Millennial Boy Band and the crystal sculpture (I forget its title… something about Nature). You are creating gods… a mess of monstrosities, its real interesting. Anyway… just a few ideas.

  2. Lunch was okay. I ate quickly so I could come back to the apartment and rest. I watched a documentary on hackers put out by National Geographic… it was good but overproduced.

My afternoon class Herr Professor Wolfgang Schirmacher, Ph.D., the OG angry gang of wolves. There are several quotes of the day from Wolfie. My favorites are:

    “I am a samurai without a master.”
“That is how I stopped my mother from hitting me… I just hit her back.”
“Life is suffering. There is avoidable and unavoidable suffering… most of it is unavoidable.”
“Why don’t people understand that they are in control of everything – they are Homo Generators, controllers of their own life? And as one you always can choose to sign out, to end your own life if you wish.”
“Genetic disposition is only possibility, not a sentence.”

Both classes today were real good. I am off on a better start this year. I think I already told you, but I am going to be the TA for Manuel Delanda in a few weeks…. His course is going to be on Deluze – Science and History.

I miss you tons baby and think you for doing all of the bloging and pictures… it helps so much. I can’t wait till we can video chat again.
