Hey Wifa.

I want to start this entry off with a kiss! Muah! Love you!

My day is winding to a close and I am tired. I have been busy all day, running errands, grooming doggies, working in the studio and strolling through Wash Park.

I started the day a little slower than usual and took advantage of my day off by sleeping in. It felt good to get a couple hours of extra sleep. I love sleeping, I wish you were here to enjoy it with me. I had a dream that Sally, my ol' bike, found it's way back to me on 8th Ave. I was so happy to see her. I wish I could ride that little bike again. Anyway, I started my day by going to the pet and grocery store. I bought clippers to cut the dogs hair and food for the week. I bought all of the stuff we usually get with easier things to make mixed in. It is hard to shop without you. I feel like I wander aimlessly because I am distracted by your absence. Once I got home, I groomed up the doggies. They were patient with me, but I could tell they were not pleased. Once they were all shaved I gave them a bath to wrap up their spa treatment. After grooming services, I headed to the studio and worked on casting the Apollo bust. The mold works so well. I started to "draw" with the head; which is like a work out because it is so heavy. I made a video of working with the head. It felt so performative while I was drawing. I am considering doing a performance for the exhibition, but I am not much for performing.  I plan on to recast again tomorrow morning before heading to that Swedish furniture store to get a shelf. I burned my finger pretty bad on some hot glue. There is a sizable blister on my left ring finger. It will be okay though. The dogs and I spent twilight walking around Wash Park. It was still a little warm and the dogs were panty. As soon as we arrived, we went to the ditch so the dogs could dip their toes. The sky was beautiful as we walked. All pinks, oranges, purples, and blues. The reflection on the water gave the park a purple aura. While we were walking, I noticed a didlo and hand sanitizer on the track. I think someone was trying to be shocking. What I found more shocking was how few people recognized the gag. There was a party at the lake house, where we meet another airedale. I was happy the dogs looked so good in front of another groomed pooch. Once we made it came home, I made dinner and went back to the studio to prep for tomorrow morning.

I think your classes sound interesting. I am sorry you weren't as entertained as you were the day before. As for imitation, I think of it as a biological response too. A lot of how we learn as a baby is done through imitation. I always think of babies repeating what their parents most commonly say. I watched a TED talk about "mirror receptors" which is a facility that allows us to learn by emulating out parents. Mirror receptors allow us to put ourselves in the place of others conceptually. I like Hamacher's examples. They remind me of Rene Magritte or Joesph Kosuth. Do you guys ever talk about biology? Wolfie's quotes were excellent. Both statements are "poetic." His second quote is so prevalently proven by people in the service industry. People love to say "no" for a little bit of gratification. I have been guilty of it, but it is something that I try to recognize and stop.

That is all from me tonight. It seems as though I missed you this (your) morning. I look forward to seeing your beautiful face tomorrow. I hope you have an excellent day. I love you so much and I cannot even begin to express my desire to be next to you physically. One more day down and a few moments closer to holding you.

I lova you wifa. I will be dreaming of you.
