Hey Baby,

You must be making your way through the Alps right now. I hope that your travels are safe. It was so sad to say goodbye today. I wish I were with you. I have gotten used seeing you online, knowing I won't see you feels like saying goodbye all over again. I will be thinking of you the whole time you are gone. It will be hard to concentrate on anything else. I hope that you are able to get some rest on the bus. You have a lot of good art to see ;)

After you left, Zach came over to get his painting. He has to photograph it because he got into a publication. It was good to see him. Such a goof around. While Zach was here Clarke snuck out :0 I don't know how long she was out there, but I had closed the dog door and she was trying to paw her way back in. Oh jeez. Your wish came true.

I mowed the yard (front and back). It looks nice. The heat is kind of taking the spunk out of the grass, so I have been watering all night to try and revitalize it.

The dogs and I went on a walk. I hosed them off before we went because it was still warm. We took an alternative route tonight. We started the same, but once we got around the bathrooms we cut toward the highway. Cutting across the hill made the park look so beautiful. The light was so bright while the sun was setting. We walked along the north side of the lake. It seems to be where the geese nest during the day. There are some baby geese that are turning into teenagers. They look awkward, like a mix between a chicken and a goose. There were three baby geese bustling around. Then we saw a bird I have never seen before. It wasn't that large. It's color was tan with red eyes and it had a white ring around its neck :) We walked on the new path tonight. It looks like it will be cool, there will be water on both side. I think we were the first to do it. After blazing the trail ;) we laid in the grass for a while. The dogs flopped around. Funf did a little devil dog. While we were sitting, the swallows were flying so close to the ground. The tips of their wings must have been clipping the grass. There were several birds making the run down the soccer field. Eventually Uola saw them. I think she wanted to catch them or something. She got excited and stood watching them for a bit. We walked a little longer than usual, then came home.

I have been working on the Redline application and working on some small prints. I am going to apply and see what happens. I am getting ready for bed now :(

The house can feel so empty when you are not here. It is a feeling that I just can't get used to. I miss you so much.

I hope you enjoy the Biennale. I can't wait to hear what you saw.

Goodnight.

I love you my wife.

Your husband.
