Sigh.

The quality of this video isn't that great, but the texture of that melting glacier is amazing.

You are sleeping now and when you listen to this I will be asleep.

Clarke started her day in the sock drawer.

Lots of pictures today baby.

It is 7 am in Switzerland and 11pm in Denver. Whenever I think of the time in Switzerland I always feel like it is later here.

Not much to talk about today. I worked at Robischon today. It was nice. That space is so big now. I think it has about the same square footage as BMOCA, if not more. The show I helped install today is coming together nicely. One of McEnroe's pieces is cool, and Linda Fleming has a gorgeous piece that reminds me of Anish Kapoor's mirror piece we saw in Miami.

Tonight we did not got anywhere for our walk. We stayed in the hood because it was cool enough to walk while the sun was out. I took the camera along and looked for things to photograph. The historical marker got some new paint on it. I prefer when the goat was there. I saw some love birds and an airplane. Then I took a picture of that altarista down the street from us. I love that thing.

When we got home I decided to take a bath. I wanted to take some pictures for you since you are all the way across the Atlantic. Filling up the tub made me miss you so much :(

I hope you are getting along okay. Do you feel like you are getting into the swing of things? I am curious to know what you are eating. I imagine that it is military food for some reason. Intelectual boot camp. I miss you :'(

We didn't get to say much to each other today.

Love birds

What a dingus!

I am falling behind on the sonnets, I haven't forgot.

I love you my wife.

Your husband.

  1. My love,

I wish you were here with me. DJ Spooky took a turn to the better this morning. We are talking about process and watching an amazing Rolling Stones Video directed by Jean luc Godard. Please try to find it and watch it baby, I want to talk with you about it. I couldn't find the film on netflix... but I added some other films he directed.

From what you are showing me it looks like the neighborhood is not doing well at the moment... please be safe. I love you.

I miss our baths, my little sea otter. :)

The food here is good. Breakfast is my favorite, I've been having brie and toast. They serve desert with lunch, not dinner... yesterday we had chocolate doughnuts.

We went to a small bar last night after the 10:30 lecture ended. I played pool with Poppy and the Spookster DJed. It was fun.

I miss you and I love you more than you know. I hope we can chat today, I brought my computer charger to class. WORDS

    Your baby

  4. Hey Baby,

I saw "Sympathy for the Devil" when I was in high school. I need to see it again because it was been so long. I have seen "Breathless" by Godard. My favorite part, that I remember, is a scene where they are riding in a car together and the man is telling the girl how much he loves her. He says, "I love you so much I will do anything. I will stick my head up that girl's dress." Then he hops out of the car and puts his head up a girl's dress that is walking down the street. It may not be the scene exactly, but you get the jist.

The hood is about the same. The graffiti is about the same. I am not walking around after dark though. We I were walking down by where we saw the "Bean" tag and saw four kids coming from around the hedges. The canal smelled like aerosol paint. My assumption is that the were painting. I wanted to take their picture, but I didn't want ask on account that they were painting. I did say "hi" to them.

Happy to hear the food is good. Doughnuts sound good. Makes me think of Winchell's, the kingdom of doughnuts.

I have seen Blu before. I am not into it aesthetically, but I can respect the technique. Why does he paint where there is already graffiti? I guess I have a blasé attitude about Blu. Snoozer.

It is interesting that the Saudi's say that they are trying to preserve the dignity of women, but they treat them with great inequality. It is astounding to me that a controlling power can have such a misunderstanding of dignity. Treating people with dignity is acknowledging their equality. The saddest part is that spirituality is used to take freedom away from people. The idea of using spirituality as a source of power is a great travesty.

Ho Hum. Who knows? Having a brain is dumb.

I love you baby, I just want to play on the beach with you and the dogs and clarke mooshka.
