Hey baby,
It feels like I spoke with you so long ago. By now you may be waking up and getting ready for your day. As for myself, I am winding down for bed, but I may take a bath first.
The last time we chatted I was in the middle of my day. I spent most of my time helping Laleh. Around 2, Sterling showed up to speak with Petra. We all had lunch after their meeting. We ate our lunch by the creek and watched a guy throw a stick in the river for his dog to fetch. I was a little alarmed because the creek is moving swiftly because of all the mountain runoff. A couple days before I read that floating the creek would not be allowed because the current was moving too quick. The whole time I watched I was dumbfounded that the guy was not aware of how fast the water was moving. The dog barked and fetched a large branch out of the creek, while I ate my sandwich. After I finished, we got up to leave and the dog was swept down the creek. His head was barely above the water and he looked afraid. The guy nervously ran down the edge of the creek looking for a place to snatch his dog out of the water. After the dog floated past where we were standing, he was pushed to the edge and his owner grabbed him. Happy ending :) The dog was having so much fun. He was fun to watch. Who doesn't want to play inthe water on a 90 degree day. I had a late lunch so Sterling hung out around Boulder and caught a ride back to Denver with me. We talked about New York. I dropped him off on south Broadway.
On my way home, I decided to call Josh because I hadn't talk to him in a while. We had dinner at the Water Course and caught up a bit. After dinner I saw his apartment. I came home after that.
When I got home, I feed the dogs. I turned on the water in the yard and waited for the dogs to finish their meal. After they ate we went for a walk. As we stepped out the wind was blowing pretty hard. The cottonwood trees on 5th st had lost some limbs. The sky was blustery and the clouds were being pushed across the sky. The park was pretty vacant. There were no swallows to see. Instead, I saw two guys in all white flying a white kite. The house on the corner was tagged in the alley. When I got home I uploaded my images and started writing you. That's the day.
I am off to read your <3 letter then turn in and dream of being next to you. One more day down. I love you my wife.
Your husband.

Its good to see that you are watering the lawn my love. I think I'm going to miss these photos you send me when I get back. Can we think about continuing it? Do you enjoy it?
ReplyDeleteThose photos of the babies are too cute, I can't believe that they are ours. We are so lucky? Tell me, can you feel the keetons in Clarke's belly yet? I'm so excited.
I love you so much.
