Hey Wifa.

I hope you had a good night's rest. 

My day was good. I woke up and felt exhausted. My day was long and tiring. 

I started by taking the dogs out. By 8 am it was already hot. The dogs didn't want to take the long loop, so we cut it short. I made myself breakfast and headed to work.

I got to "beautiful face" and started to paint. It was a lot of work but it was easy and progressed smoothly. I had to run to the hardware store to get a sanding sponge and took advantage of the opportunity to see the "baby" ravens. They grew so much. When I was there last you could hardly see them in the nest. Today, they looked like the were about to fly. I talked to the clerk and she was excited about the birds. I was happy to talk to her about them because I love birds. She said that last year a raven family had set up a nest in a different part of the store and had a nest of babies. She said some people like them and some people thought they were a nuisance. It is sad to me that some people see them as a nuisance. It is rare to see the child rearing of ravens, or any wildlife for that matter.

After work, I headed home to try and catch you online. I was distraught when I saw you were online but away from the computer. I figured you had fallen asleep, so it was a pleasant surprise to see you.

I headed to the show after seeing you. It was a good opening. Your dad showed up early. It was nice to see him there in support. Your mom couldn't make it because she was teaching, but she called. Nothing too exciting. People you would expect were there. There were a few really good pieces. Buddy, Michael Bernhardt, Justin, and Alicia had really nice pieces. I hung around for a couple of hours then headed home. I gave Zach and Stefan a ride home. We told jokes and laughed as we drove. Zach invited me into his house to see some of his new drawings. We ended up talking about the difficulties of making art after school. He seems frustrated. I told him I have the same struggles and to be patient. We talked for about an hour then I came home.
