Hey Wifa.
I hope you get some rest on the bus. It will be so exciting to travel through Switzerland.
I got some catching up to do on the blog. I hope I can remember everything from yesterday.
Here it goes:
I got up around 7 on Wednesday. I worked in the studio and watered the lawn. Your dad picked me up at 9:30 and we headed to Northglenn. It was already hot by the time we got there and as we pulled up your dad told me we needed to fill the roll off dumpster with the couches and trash that had gathered behind the shopping center. There were probably four and a half couches. We had to push them with with the front of your dad's van to the dumpster. Once we dealt with the couches, we moved on to an enclosure that contained trash from the restaurant and who ever else was around to dump in. I can't even begin to describe this heap of garbage. It was as dirty and smelly as you can imagine. Despite its putrid state, someone found it a good place to sleep. Your dad and I joked about its luxurious view of the stars, but thinking about it now it is pretty sad. This was a place where I smelled one of the worst odors in my life and someone still found it a suitable place to sleep. It was a vile experience. It was an elaborate display of the humanity's negligence built up over time. The day's saving grace was that your dad and I whooped it in a few hours. We headed home around 12:30.
When I got home, I took a very cleansing shower. I rested a bit in the cool house and then headed to the studio. I worked for a few hours then took the dogs for a walk. The dogs rolled in the grass and sniffed around.
When we got home I made dinner. The evening after that was pretty mellow and I went to bed.
Today wasn't as eventful as yesterday. I made a smoothie for breakfast that was delicious. I cannot wait to make them for you. They are a good way to tackle a warm morning. I went to the Still and put in my time. It was pretty uneventful and presented little to transcribe here. It is funny to me that I can go work in a trash heap and my mind is more lucid than when I sit behind a desk and play robot. I need to look at Still's work more and appreciate it.
After work, I got home, cooked dinner, fed the dogs, then went to watch the basketball game.
And what a game it was. I wish we could have been together to watch it. I couldn't contain my dorkiness, even in public. There is just something about basketball. I made a list of things I would want to be if I weren't an artist. First, is a R&B singer. Second, is a meteorologist. And third a basketball player.
That's is for tonight baby. I hope you have a ton of fun in Basel. I wish I was with you. I will be dreaming of you my love. I miss you. One day closer to having you in my arms.
